Not Just Words

Understanding the Argentines, we have found, is not just a matter of words but also a multitude of gestures which are both common, to the point, and for an Englishman abroad very interesting. There’s even a book on subject written by an Englishman, James Bracken, called !Che Boludo! I don’t know if it’s available in England but it ought to be. With the aid of Gemma and our Austrian friends Stefan and Birgit here are a few examples of the fun and games that can witnessed on the streets of Buenos Aires and far beyond… (My favourite is the ‘weekday’ one)
